Your main enemy is in your head.
We live in a state of constant multitasking, accompanied by anxiety, stress, and internal tension. The source of this worry often lies within our ego: it hinders our ability to build harmonious relationships, intensifies the inner critic, and deprives us of the ability to truly enjoy life.
Before you is a unique guide to brain development, based on a combination of Buddhist wisdom and modern discoveries in neuropsychology. Cognitive neuropsychologist, Professor Chris Nibauer, explains in simple terms how our brain works from a neuroscience perspective, why we get stuck in thoughts and emotions, and how to learn to manage our internal state.
THIS BOOK WILL HELP:
- recognize and stop the flow of obsessive thoughts;
- free yourself from anxiety and cope with burnout;
- stop fixating on negative emotions and others' judgments;
- learn to live in the present, rather than getting stuck in memories or worrying about the future.
