The Alchemy of Moonlight

Trapped in a world of heteronormative expectations, queer Marquis Emil longs for independence. All Emil needs is to keep his head down and wait for the time to pass, but soon he encounters a mystery that goes far beyond his imagination. Serving the fearsome Count Montoni, Emil learns that every full moon the count and his family suffer from a strange affliction that requires them to be immersed in complete calm. On the night of the full moon, amidst such visual family quarrels, Emil discovers a mutilated body on the grounds and immediately reports it. But he has no idea what measures Count Montoni is willing to take to keep his family secrets.

As Emil delves deeper into the affairs of this house and becomes entangled in supernatural events, his questions attract the attention of the handsome doctor Bram and the charming count's nephew, Henry.

But how to earn Bram's trust and favor without revealing his true identity and hidden desires? And how can he trust, let alone love, Henry — a man as fickle as the ever-changing moon?
