Two Chrysanthemums

Japan, late 16th century. In the castle of Prince Nobunaga, preparations are underway for a celebration – the birthday of his youngest daughter.

The prince plans to celebrate this important day on a grand scale and arrange the fate of both Hitomi and his elder daughter, Yuriko, born of a concubine.

The celebration is a great success. But the young beauties are unaware that shadows are already thickening around their family and that soon their lives will change drastically. For one of the sisters is destined to become a concubine, while the other – a mountain witch.
