The Move of the White Horse

The merciful and generous blue sky of Baikal. Only it did the noble Buryat merchant Chagdar Bulatov rely on for protection and help as he fled with his family across the endless steppes in 1923. Thus he named his youngest grandson, who was destined to be born amidst the blooming variety of flowers, Jimbazhamtsa, which means "Ocean of Generosity".
From the former luxury, Chagdar was left with only Sagaalshan – the mare he gifted to the young Buryat-Mongolian republic. This gift marks the beginning of a story that stretches over a long seventy years. Ruin after the Civil War, losses after the Great Patriotic War – and difficult creation. Everyday troubles and the mutual assistance and kindness of people that help to overcome them.
In the swirl of historical events, the children and grandchildren of Bulatov will carry the memory of their ancient lineage, draw a firm line of loyalty to their native land, steadfastly follow Chagdar's advice, and strive to keep the family together.
