The author of the book is Alexander Grigoryevich Zvyagintsev: Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation (2000–2016), Deputy Director of the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, author of many historical and documentary books, as well as thrillers, plays, and screenplays. The publication is illustrated with unique drawings by the outstanding graphic artist Nikolai Nikolaevich Zhukov, who attended the Nuremberg Tribunal as a correspondent for the newspaper "Pravda". The book contains a foreword by the chairman of the Russian Historical Society Sergey Evgenievich Naryshkin. The design of the book features drawings by the People's Artist N.N. Zhukov.
