Homo Deus. A Brief History of the Future

In his first book, which became a worldwide sensation, «Sapiens. A Brief History of Humankind», Yuval Harari described how Homo sapiens came to dominate our planet. «Homo Deus» is a sort of continuation of the theme - it is an attempt to glimpse into the future. What will billions of people, displaced by computers from the labor market and forming a new, useless class, do? 

How will religions perceive genetic engineering? What will be the consequences of transferring powers and competencies from living people to network algorithms? What must humanity do to protect the planet from its own destructive force?..
