The poet is in exile and finds new creative strength with the help of his loyal friends Dog, Cat, and Mouse, and caring nanny Arina Rodionovna.

On a hot day, uninvited guests arrive at Mikhailovskoye, disturbing the poet's creative mood. Secretly escaping from home, Pushkin meets the beautiful Alina, who lives in the neighboring estate.

A meeting with the beauty becomes a new source of inspiration for the poet, but while he indulges in daydreams, his friends are forced to escort away the lingering guests…
