The best way to tell the general public about our classical drama is to draw attention to what theatrical and literary critics have never focused on, namely – the role and significance of the extremely sparse culinary backdrop that is present in the works of domestic playwrights from the late 18th to the early 20th century. And through the exhibition of this insignificant "appendix" on the body of Russian drama, illuminate the reflected everyday Russian culture from a rather unexpected side for the broadest, simplest, and most inert circle of readers and viewers.
