Intersections of Russian Avant-Garde: Rodchenko, Stepanova and Their Circle

The intersections of the avant-garde is a chronicle book about the life of a creative couple of the Russian avant-garde, the founders of modern design and photography: Alexander Rodchenko and Varvara Stepanova. They collaborated with everyone; art was the meaning... of their lives, and their life was art. Ten days have been selected from more than forty years of their joint life and creativity, ten intersections with various forms of art, friends, colleagues, and like-minded people, including poet Vladimir Mayakovsky and artists Vladimir Tatlin, Vasily Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich, directors Sergei Eisenstein and Vsevolod Meyerhold, architects Konstantin Melnikov and Alexander Vesnin.
