Quran

The most well-known meaningful translation of the Quran into Russian, made by the outstanding scholar-orientalist, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Ignatius Julianovich Krachkovsky. It was first published in 1963 and has been printed in over 40 editions, with a total circulation exceeding 2 million copies. This literal translation is considered academic in Russia due to its high scientific significance; it is regarded by a number of researchers as the pinnacle of Western and Russian Arab studies and rightly stands as one of the most authoritative sources among Russian-speaking Muslims.
