Games and Exercises for Developing Children's General Speech Skills (5-6 Years)

The book provides recommendations for forming the basic skills of intonational expressiveness in children starting from the age of 5-6 years. The following is implemented:
- organization of phonation breathing;
- development of facial expressions; expressiveness of movements; abilities to understand and express emotions;
- formation of physiological mechanisms of intonation (development of voice strength and expansion of vocal range);
- development of temporal-rhythmic organization of utterances;
- formation of perception and reproduction of the main intonational types of utterances (declarative, interrogative, and exclamatory).
The material is organized by types of work and is related to lexical themes used for developing speech in preschoolers during activities in the senior (speech) group of kindergarten.
In addition, the book presents a survey methodology that is comprehensive and aims to study the features of various components of the intonational system that ensure the processes of perception and reproduction of intonational expressiveness of speech by children.
The material of the book complies with Federal State Requirements (FST), according to which the educational area "Communication" is integrated with the educational areas - "Socialization", "Physical Culture", and "Music".
