"Instincts are blind, but they have their own mind, not immediately understood by the human mind". The figure of A. A. Ukhtomskiy (1875–1942) in science has a global significance. A Russian scientist and academician – he immortalized himself with the theory of dominance, largely ahead of its time. In this work, the author reflects on the physiology of attention.
