The book by Antelme was written about by Georges Bataille and Maurice Blanchot, Sara Kofman and Edgar Morin, Philippe Lacoue-Labarthe and Jean-Luc Nancy, Marguerite Duras and Georges Perec, who asserted that with the appearance of this book, literature was born anew.
