Spain, the city of Granada, 1278. At the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains begins one of the most exciting and interesting projects of Spanish medieval times - the construction of the Alhambra, a unique architectural and park ensemble with palaces, fortresses, and gardens.

You have managed to invite the best builders from Europe and the Middle East, each of whom wants to take part in the construction of this incredible place. Masons from the north and gardeners from the south flock to the Alhambra, but they all want a decent salary and, of course, in their native currency. Assemble the best team of builders and make sure you have coins from different countries to pay each of them. For this, they will help you plant beautiful gardens, erect majestic towers, and richly decorated chambers.

«Alhambra» — is a family game that combines strategy, planning, and trading elements. Players take on the role of architects striving to build the most magnificent version of the famous Alhambra palace.

You will need to collect cards of 4 different types of coins in order to then buy building tokens in the market and place them in your Alhambra, following the construction rules. During the game, there are 3 scoring phases - points are distributed based on the number of buildings of different types. The player who scores the most points wins!

How to play?
Participants take turns, starting with the first player and then moving clockwise.
On their turn, a player must perform 1 of 3 possible actions.
- TAKE COIN CARDS
The player can take either 1 card or several cards from the market board, if the sum of their values is 5 or less.
- BUY A BUILDING TOKEN
The player can buy 1 building token from the market by paying coins of the type indicated above the selected token. The total value of played cards must be equal to or
greater than the price of the token being bought, but the player does not receive change.
The player can place the purchased building token only at the end of their turn, either in their Alhambra or in their reserve.
- CHANGE THE ALHAMBRA PLAN
The player can change their Alhambra by placing 1 token from their reserve into their Alhambra, removing 1 token from Alhambra to the reserve, or replacing 1 token in the Alhambra with 1 token from their reserve.

During the game, there are 3 scoring phases. The first two occur when a scoring card is drawn from the coin card stack. The third scoring takes place at the end of the game. Each player receives points for the longest continuous wall section along the perimeter of their Alhambra, and players who have built the most buildings of different types also score points.

The game ends when at the end of a player’s turn, there are no tokens left in the building tower to replenish the market. The player with the highest score wins.
