Board Game - Word by Word
Introducing an exciting quiz that will be a great entertainment for adults and children. The game not only brings joy but also helps to expand vocabulary and learn the alphabet in an engaging way.
Objective of the game.
On your turn, name... words from the category cards. The player who named the last word takes the category card. To win, collect 3 cards.
Beginning of the game.
Flip the game board, insert 2 AA batteries (detailed information is provided on the back of this brochure), and turn on the game using the ON/OFF switch. Remove the cards from the special compartment. Place the game board and cards in the center of the table.
How to play.
Select who will go first. Then the turn goes to the player in a clockwise direction. Take a card and choose one of the four categories for the round. The player's choice allows them to come up with their own category or choose from any card. You will have 10 seconds to name a word from the category that starts with the available letter. Say the word, press the letter that your word starts with, and press the central button. The timer resets and the turn goes to the next player. Pressed letters cannot be reused in this round. The tension in the game grows as the available letters decrease.
Loss.
Players are eliminated from the round if any of the following occurs:
— Do not complete the turn before the 10-second sound signal.
— Name an answer that does not match the category (chosen by the majority of other players) and cannot find an acceptable answer in time.
— Press a letter and provide an unacceptable answer, so be careful if you are not sure of your answer!
When a player is eliminated, the next player takes their turn by pressing the timer to continue the round. Play until only one player remains, collecting cards for that round. To start the next round, choose a card from a new category and press the latch to reset the letter keys.
Victory.
Continue the game until a player collects three cards and wins! For longer games, play until four, five, or even more cards!
