PUPPIES and what it leads to

This book contains two separate texts. "PUPPIES. Musical charlatans" was written in the spring of 2017 following the first tour of the band. "NIGREDO. Ten days without shoelaces" was written in the winter of 2024 in a temporary detention isolation facility, where the vocalist, the author of the book, Maxim Tesli, was taken almost immediately after the concert. Seven years separate these texts. During which a lot has happened: Puppies became a popular band, they performed at all major Russian festivals, toured abroad, gathered 3000 people for a solo concert, earned money, and Maxim nearly died twice! You already know about the sock and the concert. This book is a grand adventure of enthusiastic musicians who managed to captivate hundreds of thousands of people with their drive. It is a book about freedom and creativity, about love, about dreams, about foolishness, and ultimately, it is about the choices we make and the price we pay. But most importantly, it is a book about ***ing rock and roll!
