Witnesses of the Games

"Witnesses of the Games" consists of interviews with witnesses and participants of the Moscow Olympics, as well as historical chapters. Among the heroes of the book are singer Lev Leshchenko, actor and director Benjamin Smekhov, three-time champion of the Moscow Olympics swimmer Vladimir Salnikov, journalists, doctors, and translators who worked at the Games, experts in architecture, fashion, and design of the 1980s, and many others. 15 interviews provide an opportunity to look at the history of the Olympics from the day Moscow was approved as its capital until the moment the Olympic Bear flew away from the Luzhniki stadium.
