The book by the classic of humane pedagogy, the outstanding writer and teacher Shalva Alexandrovich Amanashvili, "The School of Life," is addressed to primary school teachers. It is intended to assist them in mastering the methods of a humane-personal approach to children. The content of the book represents the development of the works of Sh. A. Amanashvili on the theory and practice of humane pedagogy, published in our country and abroad in the 70s-90s of the 20th century. The book presents a holistic concept of a new type of education within the framework of primary school, with its philosophical foundation, conceptual base, principles, and directions of implementation; however, its ideas and foundations are unified for the humane-personal educational process at any stage of school life, higher education, family, and community upbringing.
