Hitler's Germany. For attempting to revive the Communist Party in Leipzig, Bruno Apitz was accused of treason. After 3 years in prison, the writer was transferred to one of the most terrible concentration camps of the fascist regime – Buchenwald.... The SS could not break Apitz's spirit. “Naked Among Wolves” is a deeply personal novel for the writer. The last months of Buchenwald. With the next transport to the camp arrives a prisoner with a suitcase. Inside – hope. A miraculously saved little boy. One of the members of the resistance hides the child. The outcome of the war is predetermined, but the SS, having sniffed out about the boy, digs into the case. Sophisticated torture of the suspects, manipulations, threats – all to expose the underground organization that hid the child. Despite the horror happening, hope settles in the hearts of the prisoners. And along with it, the strength to act appears.
