After two years, complex emotional processes awaken in a child - they begin to perceive themselves as individuals and build relationships with those around them. This often manifests in a tendency towards psychological manipulation - whims, resentments, testing the will... of parents and the limits of what is permissible. A complex but very important period. Patience, endurance, and most importantly, conscious understanding of the moment are required! Punishments will not help the situation. What can we rely on and how can we reach a reasonable compromise between WANTING and ALLOWING?
Our answer is as follows - rules (unchangeable), explanations (understandable), examples (first and foremost, our own), and "debriefing" (preferably of others' experiences)!
