States are at war, and corporations are eager to grab the crumbs falling from their table. And in a small Venetian town called Melling lives a lonely boy named Rick Chernov… Lives? He survives in a huge junkyard of airships, the so-called whale graveyard. Only his perseverance and knowledge from a past life, short but eventful and quite unhappy, save him. But it is these memories that make him stronger, feeding his will to live, his dream of flight, and… revenge. Revenge for a second childhood twisted by someone else's will and for his parents, who perished in the fiery explosion during the pirates' attack on the quiet town. And even though dreams are still far from realization — one day he will undoubtedly achieve his goal and lift the best airship on the planet into the sky, from which no pirate will be able to escape.
