Kinesiotaping in the Medical Practice of Neurology and Orthopedics

The book is dedicated to the use of the kinesiotaping method in therapeutic work, utilizing theoretical and practical approaches that are absent in the practice of global taping. The implementation of kinesiotaping based on the theory of other rehabilitation methods used in the rehabilitation practice at the N.I. Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University and the Children's Clinical Hospital in Moscow has contributed to the emergence and development of a completely different methodological approach. This has created a practical and theoretical foundation with no known analogs. The publication is dedicated to the informational presentation of developed taping directions, showcasing the possible variants of implementing the method in orthopedics and neurology. The implementation tools include all technical bases of kinesiotaping, the use of which with the proposed theoretical approaches is possible in clinics, hospitals, sanatoriums, and other medical institutions involved in the treatment of orthopedic and neurological patients. The publication is addressed to physical therapy doctors, neurologists, orthopedists engaged in rehabilitation, physical therapy methodologists with secondary medical education, students, postgraduates, and faculty of medical universities.
