Simone Moro is one of the most famous climbers and mountaineers in Italy and the world, a mountain guide, and a doctor of sport sciences.
He has scaled numerous peaks, including eight eight-thousanders: Everest, Lhotse, Shishapangma, Cho Oyu, Broad Peak, Makalu,... Gasherbrum II, Nanga Parbat.
Simone Moro's entire life is imbued with a love for the mountains, which motivates him to reach new heights and overcome obstacles.
In other books, Simone has already recounted individual episodes from his career, but here he candidly shares his mountaineering journey for the first time, starting from the Dolomites and Patagonia to the story of the winter first ascent on Nanga Parbat, and even a trip to Siberia in 2018.
