Chess Textbook

"Chess Textbook" is intended for those who wish to improve their game (from beginners to first category players) and chess coaches. It represents a systematic course in chess (except for openings), including general information about the game of chess and... chess sports, various types of advantages in a chess game, combinations, attacks on the king, endgame techniques, and the basics of strategy. With this book, a coach can work with students "independently", additionally referring to opening manuals and tournament collections. The educational material is mainly based on games - masterpieces of world chess. The book also contains many examples from children's tournaments with typical mistakes, which is important for novice chess players. Numerous exercises (tasks for independent solution) are provided for the main sections of the textbook. Answers are given at the end of the book. It is aimed at children of middle school age and can be used by a wide range of chess enthusiasts and qualified chess players of all ages.
