Chess Textbook

"Chess Textbook" is intended for those who want to improve their game (from beginners to first category players) and chess coaches. It represents a systematic course in chess (excluding openings), including general information about the game of chess and chess... sports, various types of advantages in a chess game, combinations, attacks on the king, endgame techniques, and fundamentals of strategy. A coach, having this book, can work with students "offline", additionally referring to opening manuals and tournament collections. The educational material is primarily based on games - masterpieces of world chess. The book also contains many examples from children's tournaments with typical mistakes, which is important for younger-ranked chess players. Numerous exercises (self-solution tasks) are provided for the main sections of the textbook. Answers are given at the end of the book. It is aimed at children of middle school age and can be used by a wide range of chess enthusiasts and qualified chess players regardless of age.
