The founder of the legendary group "Laskovyi Mai" (the phenomenon of its success has puzzled many witnesses of those events, pop stars, and great minds of modernity) Sergey Borisovich Kuznetsov tells about the history of its creation and its soloist Yuri Shatunov, who departed this life prematurely on June 23, 2022. The group "Laskovyi Mai" has a complicated fate, just like its members. It shone for a short time on the musical Olympus of Soviet and Russian pop music, but those people whose hearts were conquered by the songs of Sergey Kuznetsov performed by Yuri Shatunov remained their fans throughout the entire creative tandem's life, passing their love for him from generation to generation. And there is a million-strong army of them around the world. The plot of this book was supposed to be limited to the creative evening of the founder of the group "Laskovyi Mai" Sergey Kuznetsov, but two days after the sold-out concerts, the maestro passed away due to a heart attack. The co-author of the book and friend of Sergey Borisovich, Landysh Akhmetshina, concludes the narrative with descriptions of the last days of the great composer’s life and the events related to him over the following year. The book also includes memories of Oksana Masyagutova - the Kuznetsovs' assistant, and Valentina Alexeyevna Kuznetsova, Sergey Borisovich's mother.
