The Power of Ethics. The Art of Making the Right Choice in Our Complex World

In today’s world, many companies prioritize profit over the health and safety of people, and technology creates risks for society—with minimal consequences for those who should be held accountable. In our personal lives, we ponder how to ensure data privacy on the internet and protect children from undesirable information, how to make choices about what and from whom to buy, and how to respond to injustices we witness at home and work. Susan Liotto, an ethics instructor at Stanford University, explores some of today's most complex ethical dilemmas, explains a four-step decision-making process, and describes six forces that drive nearly every ethical choice.
