In the context of the introduction of the federal state educational standard, the role and importance of modern educational technologies significantly increase. They differ in the declared objectives, the organization of the learning process; some are more focused on the... development of creative thinking, others on the development of communication skills, but the goals and end result of effective technologies can be generally described as follows: the formation of meta-subject skills aimed at developing the ability for self-education.
The technology of developing critical thinking, created by Western scholars and adapted to the Russian school, has largely become a harbinger of changes that have come to our school with new standards. This explains its demand and popularity in schools today.
