Board Game - Word Creator

 Play the board game "Word Creator" and expand your vocabulary! Create new words and earn points for the letters used. Be the most attentive and find the word among the letters on the cards first!

    Game components:
    • cardboard letter cards – 108 pcs. (small card – 4.5 x 4.5 cm.)

    The game is intended for children from 6 years old, but will also be interesting for adults.


How to play?

    Objective of the game:
    To create as many words as possible and score the maximum number of points. 

    Preparation for the game:
    Shuffle the cards, turn them face down and deal them evenly to the participants. Each player places their received cards in a stack face down in front of themselves, and they should not see the letters. If there are extra cards, they are placed face up in the center of the table so that everyone can see the letters.
Determine the order of play. The first player is the one who names the tenth letter of the alphabet (the letter number can be changed each time). Then players take turns clockwise.

    Gameplay:
    The first player takes the top card from their stack and places it face up in the center of the table next to the already flipped ones. Everyone tries to come up with a word from the available letters, aiming to outpace their opponents.
    The one who succeeds must shout: "I see a word!", after which they form a word from the revealed cards and show it.

   Important! The word must be a noun in the nominative case singular (exceptions are words that do not have a singular form, e.g.: scissors, pants, glasses). In this game, E = Ё, И = Й, Ь = Ъ,

    If a player correctly forms a word from the cards, they take them for themselves and place them in their stack of won cards face up.

    If a player makes a mistake (missing a letter, forming the word incorrectly, etc.), they must distribute one card from their stack of won cards to each player, and return the cards they tried to use back to the center of the table.

    If a player has fewer won cards than others, they simply place all their won cards in the center of the table, keeping only one for themselves.
If a player has no won cards, the turn passes to the next player, and the cards they tried to form a word from are returned to the table. 
If a player places a lucky card with a star on the table, they can come up with a word from the revealed letters for 30 seconds while others remain silent. The star can replace any letter.

   If the player did not manage to come up with a word in the allotted time, everyone has the right to name a word using the star. The one who first forms a word takes the cards.

    The game continues until players have placed all their letters on the table, and no words can be formed from the remaining letters on the table.

    After that, points are counted based on the won cards. The winner is the one with the most points.

   Game Variants:
   You can also come up with your own rules. For example, count not points, but the number of won cards. You can set a theme for the round (e.g., food, animals, etc.) or agree to form words only from two or more syllables.
