From the History of Panticapeus
Panticapeus – an ancient city located on the shores of Taurida and once the capital of the Bosporan Kingdom. It is believed to have been founded in the 7th century BC by settlers from Miletus. Players will take on the role of young architect settlers and apply their skill and talent in practice. Build houses, create aqueducts for irrigating arid lands and vineyards, establish watchtowers on the heights, and on the summit of Mount Mithridates, erect the majestic temple of Apollo.
About the Gameplay:
A game of «Panticapeus» lasts for 5 rounds. Players take turns making moves, which are divided into 2 phases:
Exploration Phase. In this phase, players choose 1 of 3 available terrain tiles and, following the rules, place it in their city, expanding or raising it by stacking tiles on top of each other.
Development Phase. In this phase, players can choose 1 of 3 actions: Build a building, Sell resources, and Gain coins and resources.
After five rounds, players count points earned from constructed buildings, remaining coins, and resources. Points for open drought cells are subtracted from this total, and the player with the highest score becomes the winner.
