«Kartaventura. Normandy» — a tabletop narrative game from the series «Kartaventura» . In this adventure, you will find yourself in France during World War II.
It’s summer outside, your heroine is young and charming, and beside her is a lovesick young man — a... whole life awaits! However, around you are the horrors of war, the cruelty of fascist conquerors, and endless injustice ... A difficult choice: how not to remain on the sidelines but survive, how to maintain your honor without letting down your loved ones, to choose duty or love?
And you will also have to make several historical choices in the role of commanders of different countries. It’s easy to discuss events when they have already happened, but not everyone can make a choice in the moment!

The series «Kartaventura» features games in which you, as a particular character, find yourself in a plot adventure. It's like reading a book, but more interesting, as you will have to make choices on each card, and different decisions will lead to different endings.

In these games, there is no rule booklet; just follow the instructions on the cards. However, each game in the series has many illustrations and texts that convey the atmosphere of the era. You will also find an additional booklet with historical background about the time the game transports you to. Currently, eight games have been released in Russian:  «Vinland», «Lhasa», «Caravans», «Oklahoma», «Versailles», «Hollywood», «The Three Musketeers», «Normandy» .

How to play?
At the beginning of the game, you have a deck of 70 cards in front of you. To start, flip the first card and follow the instructions. Gradually, a map of the terrain will form, where characters, items, dangers, and a large number of plot forks will be waiting for you.

Choose actions, develop the plot, and reach one of the five endings of the scenario. The game will be completed when you discover all 5 endings.
