How to play?
The game lasts for 12 rounds, in each of which players take turns.

On their turn, a player performs 2 consecutive actions.
1) Take a card
The player takes 1 card from a row of 5 open cards on the table, called Rome, adds this card to the cards in their hand, and then reveals a new card from the deck, so that there are again 2 open cards in Rome.
2) Play a card and enhance your influence in the province.
The player chooses 1 card from their hand, except for the god card, and lays it in front of themselves, then moves their influence token in the province indicated on the played card
However, the player may try to secure the support of higher powers and take a god card from Rome, which lies face down. In this case, the player shows the opponents the card and applies all its effects, changing the values on the influence tokens in certain provinces. After that, the player takes the god card into their hand, where it will stay until the end of the game. Then the player still has to play 1 card according to the regular rules.

The game ends after 12 rounds, when each player will have 12 played cards in front of them. Players move on to the final score tally. Points for influence in each province are counted separately, depending on the value of the influence token in the province and the position of the player's influence token in that province. Then points are counted for each type of card according to their unique conditions. The player with the most points is declared the winner!
