Variety of wooden pieces, a handful of stones, shoelaces from two different pairs of shoes, and a pack of stock photos… Can you imagine how a game with such components proudly walks down the red carpet? No? Neither could we hide our amazement when we learned that the winner of the prestigious Spiel des Jahres award in 2020 (which is a kind of tabletop Oscar) was a box with the simple name Pictures. And then we played a few games and applauded standing up.

Pictures is a breath of fresh air for party game lovers and an original tabletop entertainment for adults and children. Over five rounds, participants will give creative hints on images using unusual components and guess their opponents' encrypted pictures. Feel like a child, a sculptor, an artist, a cryptographer, and a shoelace tamer all in one person!
