Nuremberg. The Supreme Court

The book is dedicated to the most important judicial process in human history – the Nuremberg Tribunal. The International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg became the first historical experience of condemning state-scale crimes – the ruling regime, its punitive institutions, high... political and military figures, industrialists, and financiers. The publication is based on rare archival documents, including recently declassified and hard-to-access sources, the latest research, memoirs of contemporaries, as well as personal meetings of the author with direct participants of those distant events and their relatives. Some materials are published for the first time. Alexander Grigorievich Zvyagintsev – Deputy Attorney General of the Russian Federation 2000–2016, author of many historical and documentary books, as well as thrillers, plays, and screenplays. Based on his chronicle novel “For Eternity,” and with his participation, the film “Nuremberg” was made in 2022. Winner of the Golden Eagle Award 2018 – “For Objective Presentation of Historical Truth in the Language of Cinema.”
