Nuremberg. The Supreme Court

The book is dedicated to the most important trial in human history – the Nuremberg Tribunal. The International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg became the first historical experience of condemning state-scale crimes – the ruling regime, its punitive institutions, top political and military figures, industrialists, and financiers. The publication is based on rare archival documents, including recently declassified, hard-to-access sources, the latest research, memoirs of contemporaries, as well as the author's personal meetings with direct participants of those distant events and their relatives. Some materials are published for the first time. Alexander Grigoryevich Zvyagintsev – Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation 2000–2016, author of many historical and documentary books, as well as thrillers, plays, and screenplays. Based on his chronicle novel "Eternal Glory", and with his participation, the film "Nuremberg" was made in 2022. Laureate of the "Golden Eagle" award 2018 – "For an impartial presentation of historical truth through the language of cinema".
