The Fall

Regular flight 416 of «Coastal Airways», route Los Angeles — New York, one hundred and fifty souls on board. Upon takeoff, captain Bill Hoffman learns that his entire family has been kidnapped by a terrorist who presents simple conditions: either Bill crashes the plane, or his loved ones will be killed. The flight crew has a few hours to prevent the disaster, — and there are no guarantees of success.
Former flight attendant T.J. Newman worked for American Airlines for ten years. She sketched the first drafts of her debut novel «The Fall» on napkins during overnight flights while passengers slept, and made the final edits during the coronavirus pandemic, when planes stopped flying. Her dynamic techno-thriller combines a genuine love for aviation and the ability to keep the reader in suspense every minute.
