Cartesian Meditations

In this work, Husserl attempts to systematize phenomenology in the form of neo-Cartesianism and, in part, in the fifth meditation, — Leibnizianism. Descartes' methodical doubt is replaced by a strict implementation of phenomenological reduction, which is meant to reveal the sphere of transcendental subjectivity as an infinite field of constitutive work, i.e., the establishment of meaning of any kind of objectivity. To reject accusations of solipsism, in the fifth meditation, Husserl attempts to describe the structure of the experience of the Other, i.e., the constitution of what goes beyond the own sphere of consciousness of a given I. An attempt is made to define the constitutive foundations of various communities of monads: from pairs to humanity. Various kinds of communities are considered as sources of the constitution of the meaning of the objective world and objective knowledge.
