The Blessed Quran. Meaningful Translation of the Council of Ulema under the Guidance of Ildar Alyautdinov

The translation of the Holy Quran presented in this edition, prepared under the guidance of the Mufti of Moscow Ildar Alyautdinov, is the result of a decade-long effort by a group of Russian theologians who aimed to provide a quality... meaningful translation of the scripture in a language understandable to a broad Russian-speaking audience, while preserving canonical aspects and taking into account modern realities. The basis of the translation was the work of the well-known Russian scholar-theologian, Chairman of the Council of Ulema of the DUM RF Shamil Alyautdinov. During the preparation of the translation, extensive research was conducted on authoritative classical and contemporary commentaries on the Quran in Arabic. In addition, well-known translations of the Quran into Russian and other languages were also considered. The publication is intended for the widest audience, including both followers of Islam and anyone seeking knowledge and wishing to touch upon one of the most valuable sources of cultural and religious heritage of humanity.
