Impressed by the greatness of the master, young Giovanni Beltrame becomes Leonardo's apprentice and accompanies his teacher on his numerous journeys. Leonardo has many concerns: he designs an aircraft, paints the "Last Supper," and conflicts with rivals — Michelangelo and Raphael.
