In the Footsteps of Old Sins

Mikhail Ardin is a successful lawyer, valued by his superiors. But all his knowledge and experience do not help in an incredible and wild situation: an old woman living next to Ardin has suddenly disappeared. The walls in the missing neighbor's house are covered in her blood, five burials are discovered on the property, and recordings from the camera show that Mikhail dragged and buried the bodies... The lead investigator, Major Ignatov, is convinced of Ardin's guilt, but his assistant Kira sees inconsistencies and suggests that Mikhail has been set up. But why him specifically?
