Board Game - Tundra

As strong and powerful as the king-father bear might be, the just ruler of the Tundra, he bows before the untamed force of nature. In anticipation of the inevitable winter sleep, his furry Excellence begins to seek a regent who will selflessly take care of the vast royal lands in his absence, not only preserving but also multiplying the wealth of this land. According to old covenants, composed by ancestors long ago, candidates for such an honorable title come from powerful estates. However, guided by justice, the bear ruler chooses not by status but by deeds – and thus the regent will be the best of the best, one who proves worthy of the responsibility entrusted to him...

About the Game

"Tundra" is a strategic game in which you will become one of the candidates for the governance of the Tundra until the spring when the bear king awakens from his deep slumber. You will hire workers, gather resources or buy them, build sturdy buildings capable of withstanding the winter cold and hardships, and complete various tasks to ultimately gain as many victory points as possible. The title of regent will go to the one who masters as much land as possible. Try not to get too distracted by the magnificent design inspired by the works of the famous artist Ivan Bilibin, which exudes the Russian spirit, and show the world your strategic abilities. Will you be able to conquer the northern lands and earn the ruler's trust?

How to Play?

Each round, you must roll dice. The number rolled will determine the number of actions available to you, as indicated on the command board. In addition to actions, you can also activate a common goal card on the board – if you wish to do so. You have the following options available:

Architecture
Movement
Gathering
Trade

The architecture action involves using resources to build a tower, placing a worker, or gaining victory points. With movement, as you may have already guessed, you can advance on the board and take the resource located in the new territory for yourself. Gathering will bring you new materials: peat, brushwood, or stone. If you do not want to gather, you can resort to trade – it will allow you to acquire berries or upgrade your command board, gaining additional advantages.

There are also free actions in "Tundra" – they do not require the use of dice and allow you to manipulate its values in exchange for a certain number of berries.

You will take turns until all players have run out of dice. After that, a new round will begin. Don’t forget to take your dice from the "discard" and refresh the advisor cards and city market cards.

Who Won?
You have 4 rounds to expand your influence. As soon as the fourth round comes to an end, the counting of points will begin. The one with the most points will win.
