Wings

“Wings” is a game in which you will compete with opponents to build your winning strategy. You will feel like ornithologists studying birds and try to attract as many different species to your wildlife sanctuary. 
 

“Wings” is a card tabletop game about amateur ornithologists who collect a diverse array of birds in their wildlife sanctuary using cards. The birds are represented in the game by beautifully illustrated cards and are divided into different species and habitats. It is the visual design that makes the tabletop game “Wings” unlike any other.

Throughout the game, you will collect your collection, food, lay eggs, and much more to expand your sanctuary. The player who scores the most points over four rounds of play wins.

The creator of the game was inspired by Lake Artemisia in Maryland, USA, which is home to hundreds of different birds. The unique abilities of the birds in the game reflect real characteristics that the author documented during her observations.

The tabletop game “Wings” won five nominations at the 2019 Golden Geek Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the tabletop community, for Best Card Game, Family Game, Innovative Game, Solo Game, and Strategic Game, and it was also named Game of the Year.
