Macedonian Language. Self-Study Guide

This self-study guide is intended for those who learn the Macedonian language independently. It allows the development of speech skills necessary for communication and reading simple literature, and mastering the basics of grammar: the lessons of the self-study guide familiarize with the grammatical features of the language and with commonly used conversational vocabulary. Having mastered it, one can easily handle any situation when communicating with the residents of Macedonia. To quickly memorize common speech constructions, carefully read the collections with lexical material, which is accompanied by transliteration (thematic list is provided in the contents). In each lesson of the self-study guide, you will find descriptions of lexical and grammatical categories of all parts of speech, exercises for memorizing the material studied, texts using active speech structures. For checking completed exercises, answer keys are provided at the end of the book. The lessons of the self-study guide are supplemented with a dictionary, which can be used for translating unfamiliar words encountered in the exercises. The book also contains information of a geopolitical nature, which will undoubtedly be useful during a trip to Macedonia.
