Daisy has just moved to a new city and feels out of place among her classmates. But in the basement of her house lies something unimaginable, allowing her to forget everything beyond the walls: a washing machine that serves as a portal to a bright psychedelic world, devoid of the familiar laws of physics and logic. Fractal materials and extramundane keys change everything that exists here to a state of complete unrecognizability. This magical world becomes not just a place for games and a refuge from boring reality for Daisy and her new friend Jeanne-Claude, but also a mirror of their inner experiences and aspirations. However, as they delve deeper into this space, reality and fantasy begin to intertwine more, putting their friendship and emotional balance at risk. "Subspace" is a psychedelic metaphor of growing up by Canadian artist Jesse Jacobs, combining elements of surrealism, teenage drama, and philosophy. Each turn of this work is a visual feast, where meticulously crafted details and bright colors create an atmosphere that immerses the reader in a world that is both frightening and awe-inspiring.
