Sanshiro

Natsume Soseki was one of the most educated representatives of the Europeanized Japanese intelligentsia of the early 20th century, and at the same time - a typical Japanese man. This duality allowed him to create his unique literary style, which... remains attractive to modern readers. Sanshiro Ogawa - a 23-year-old native of a village on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu - enters Tokyo University and gets to know the students and professors who make up his new environment.
