Zone Peter. Operation Guide

To enter the Zone, a Guide is needed — a person who knows how to open a passage to this anomalous land. Such skilled individuals are necessary for external forces wanting to finally uncover the secrets that promise a new level in technology, as well as for religious fanatics wishing to expel anyone not belonging to the Brotherhood from the Zone. But Guides, like any information about them, are meticulously guarded by state structures. The opportunity to obtain such a "key" arises when a person capable of creating corridors into the Zone and back arrives disguised as a newcomer from beyond the Perimeter. But which of the two possesses this ability? A fisherman — a scrawny and short middle-aged man? Or a young technician who doesn't even have a call sign? And what if the true Guide has long lived in the Zone under a strange nickname, just like himself, Undead? Which of these three turns out to be the very object that sparked this entire story?
