The Sky in the Pocket

The consciousness of a military pilot after a plane crash is transported to the past, into the body of a young nobleman. Outside, it's spring, and it's clearly the end of a foreign nineteenth century, while he is confined to... bed after a failed fall from the roof of a courtyard building. The surrounding reality presents one mystery after another, more astonishing than the last, which he must resolve. And here, Alexander III still reigns over the country, having lost his son in Japan. Despite the forthcoming treatment and recovery, there is no question about what to do next. If he has managed to rise to the sky even once, he has been infected with it for the rest of his life. The old — lost, or the new — young, acquired. All that remains is to rise. First to his feet, and then to the sky. And then it’s not far from war. Which one? Are there not many?
