The Book of Psalms can be called a collection of religious lyrical poetry - the largest of the monuments of this kind that existed in ancient times. Many psalms are addressed directly to God and express requests, prayers, and praise in poetic form. In them, the intensity of personal religious feelings is felt: the fears of the believer, his doubts, pain, triumph, joy, hope - all this is seen through the prism of these feelings.
