favorite tar, Nasser Ali lies in bed to die because life without music completely loses its meaning for him. The comic describes to the reader eight days, which include both memories of his life and the future of his children, and a meeting with death. Satrapi has a subtle feeling for reality; she skillfully intertwines in her graphic novels the spirit of the old and new East—so the themes of her works touch hearts in every corner of the world.
