"The Hand of Fate" tells the story of a former luchador champion, a Mexican wrestler. He was betrayed and his mask was taken off, after which he agreed to a devil's deal, gaining power and a new form of the... Hand of Fate, – and now he intends to carry out his revenge. This story blends the vibrant aesthetics of lucha libre and the visual style of 60s comics, Mesoamerican mythology, and wild action. Will the Hand of Fate be able to repay his enemies and remain himself – and what does it even mean to be a champion? "The Hand of Fate" is inspired by the plots and visuals of the Silver Age, especially the works of Jack Kirby. It is almost a traditional superhero story, only here luchadores are in charge: honest técnicos and cunning rudos. In their battles, the fighter's identity, his mask – and woe to him who loses it! Or to him who deceitfully takes it away…
